Hi there!

I am so super-excited to be writing this!
FINALLY, I am here to share with you my very first Filofax insert!!!!

Any idea what that is?
**drum rolls**

Ready?

A hand painted 2013 monthly calendar!  **YAY**

I have been working on it for a long time and although I didn’t think it was going to take that long to put it together, I am so glad I did it because I totally LOVE IT!

**Tossing confetti on myself**

I posted itty bits of it on Instagram and Twitter, and finally the whole thing is here right now! *phew* All grids and illustrations were painted using watercolor :)
Ah, take a look how juicy:

And look at the final product how AWESOME :D

I recorded the video to talk about the categories and the layout thinking it would be “faster”. Certainly not!
It took me forevah to get a decent one :D

Of course, to make things even quicker and to not delay this release any longer, I decided to edit the video. HA!
I added music and captions which was way too much fun! hehe, really, I had a blast doing it all!

Anyway, right below the video you will find the download  links.

Ah! One more thing before you get to the video…

Following Jotje’s brilliant suggestion about a recent post,

I did a Filofax button!

I painted my first Filofax for the Art Every Day Challenge and she mentioned I could turn it into a blog button. I obviously loved the idea and thought would be fun to have it as a category button “one of these days” when I do a revamp on my blog design.

Well, she brought that up again, then I thought, “yeah, why wait?”

I then created a “grab my button” kind of thing that you can place on your own blog, and decorate it Filofax-like!
There is a tweak thou!

As peeps that are drawn to click on a Filofax painting are mostly interested in Filofax stuff, the button will be for Filofax post-related only.
That way when you click on the picture  you won’t have to go thru my general rumblings about other life stuff. :D You will be taken right away to the Filofax posts on my blog. Including the guest-posts!

You get only Filofax juice ! ;)

Oh, but if you are interested to have a button that redirects to my blog overall as well, of course, that is always the “Juicy Button” I created a while ago.

You can always grab both of them from the side bar or right here:

The whole juice:

Don’t they look super-nice?
well,well, ok, I will stop the over-“talking”.

Let’s get to the freebie, shall we? ;)

Fill out your info below and I will send  to you the 2014 version right away:

Have fun and a great new planned year! :)

Smooches!

  1. These look SO beautiful! Having used a Dodo insert (didn’t go as well as planned) I’ve since been addicted to colour, and these are so bright and clean looking. I can’t wait to use them!!

  2. Okay, I think you’re totally nuts giving these away for free, when you’ve put so much creative energy in it! Go charge us! LOL

I’m off to install you fabulous button on my website RIGHT NOW!

  3. Thank you so much! These are beautiful & I agree with MTMTE that having used a Dodo pad I now find the standard diaries so plain.

Thanks for all your hard work & so very kind of you to offer them as a freebie. I can’t wait to start using them in 2013 :)

  4. thank you so much :) very beautiful and quite functional as well I can’t wait to use them and brighten up my filofax (and days) in the next year :)

  5. They are really beautiful! I’m putting together a range of diary inserts too and I can totally understand how long it takes to put together :) You’ve done really well, congratulations – I love the colours and beautiful pics.

  6. Ok so I freely admit I’m a technological dummy. When I tried to print the A5 ones, first they printed Full Size (A4, which is really nice but I wanted A5). So then I selected Actual Size on my printer and it prints A5, but centered on the page so I would have to cut out each page. I don’t have a slicer and my scissors skills are terrible, so I know the cut-out pages would be a mess! Is there a way to arrange the pages side by side on one page, so all I’d have to do is slice them up the middle?

    Thanks so much!!!

    • Laurie, have you tried the Booklet Print option?
Another way to do it: slice A4 pages down the middle and feed the A5 sheets in your printer. Don’t forget to choose A5 for page size in the printer setup first! Works like a charm!

    • Hi Laurie, I came to suggest you printing in “booklet” format as well. I printed like that and it worked just fine. Let me know if not. Thanks for downloading! :)

  7. I am so glad you guys are liking it!
If you have pictures of them all cute and pretty on your binders, let me take a peek at it! ;) Twitter is perfect!

  8. Thanks! I didn’t notice a booklet printing option but I will look closer and see if I can figure that out. These will be perfect in my new Filofax!! (An A5 Boston which I will be reviewing soon on Philofaxy!)

  9. Simply Stunning. You are so talented. But I agree with Jotje, with all the work you have put into these you should be charging us, lol. But thank you, a very generous offer which I can’t wait to print.

  10. Oh!!! I’ve just re activated my filofax after my iPhone started deleting appointments and I’ve already bought a diary for 2013 – then I find THIS!

Well, I shall just have to have a monthly planner AND an appointment schedule!

I hope you do one for next year too!

    • Uhhmmm, so I couldn’t wait. I went straight to the home office and printed out these beauties. I have cut them, hole-punched them and started to use them. I LOVE them! In a perfect world, you would make week on two page ones! If you were to do week on two page for personal size, I would pay for it! Just sayin’….

Thank you LT! You are very talented and these are just beautiful.

  11. Thank you for such nice comments everyone! :)
It really went beyond my expectations and I am SO glad it is a useful calendar to you all! ❤

      • Hi Shellie, both files are set to print on the original paper size.
I printed mine by cutting the blank sheets down to A5 and personal size before printing. On A5 we can get away with the “booklet” option but for personal size it needs to be printed on personal sized paper.
        I hope that helps.

  13. Amazing – I love them and the little sections down the left hand side. I write my goals for well-being, home etc in those boxes. You are very talented and that you so much for sharing them with us :)

  14. Thank you so much! It’s gorgeous. I printed it out this evening and it’s even better on paper (than on the screen). I’d also like to thank you for having paintings of different types (ethnicities) of women. It may not seem like a big deal, but it’s nice to be represented every once in a while. So, thank you even more for that.

  15. this is great!
i’m so old school, i still use filofax and i’ve completely ran out of blank caledar refills. this saved me a trip to the office supply store and money.
thanks again and keep up the good work!

  16. I LOVE THESE! Absolutely gorgeous, and SO colorful!!! Uplifting and inspiring. Will definitely be printing them out once I get printer ink ;) and (once I figure out how) i will be adding your buttons to my site! :)

  17. Thank you SO SO much, I’ve just printed them on 120g paper in a5, and they are BEAUTIFUL! Please don’t stop making these, and as commenters before me, I would pay for them, no problem.
I’m currently setting up my blog, but once it’s done I will definitely add your button!

    • wow! 120g should be looking sooooo neat! Ah, and I won’t stop making, for sure not! So many positive response keeps me moving!
And let me know when your blog is up! I always love finding new blogs to read ;)

  18. These inserts are amazing even my husband thought they were amazing and he really doesn’t like paper planners and not easily impressed by anything

  19. Hi! This is amazing! Thank you for all your hard work and even more so for making it free! I love the weekly inserts as well. The watercolor is lovely, and the planning brilliant.
I am just about to go back to “old-school” planning and getting back into the filofax and leaving the electronic planning behind.
Still about to order my personal sized planner and was wondering if you bought the paper that you showed in the beginning of this post? Or did you cut them yourself? I don’t mind cutting my own paper but I was just curious about what’s the most efficient way of doing it.
I don’t have a puncher yet as well, so any advice would be great!
Again thank you so much, this year will be so much fun to plan because of your colorful artwork! You are so generous!

    • Hi Blink! So glad you liked and are planning to come back to it :)
      What Filofax are you getting?

So, even thou I answered your questions on that other post, I will reply here again as it may be helpful to someone else ;)

I actually got a ream of paper and took to a shop to trim down. I wrote a guest post on Philofaxy all about it, including the sizes and how many sheets you can get out of each one. It may be helpful —> http://philofaxy.blogspot.com/2013/01/guest-post-getting-ready-to-spruce-up.html

And Yes! A whole punch is extremely helpful, because you will find stuff around that you may want to attach to your Filofax + if you start printing your own inserts, you will definitely need it! I have the Rapesco one and I like it a lot. The only draw back is that it’s hard to center the paper on it. Philophaxy also has a post about a few other options out there. —> http://philofaxy.blogspot.com/2013/01/filofax-punches.html
      I hope this helps :)

  20. thanks so much for sharing it with us!
I saw the printed page on a Chinese website and that guided me here :)
I am a new filofax user and my Chameleon and metropol are on their way home to me!Can’t wait to print it and decorate my filofax!
    Thank you again:)

  21. You are so precious. Thanks so much for sharing with us this beautiful work, as well as the wonderful things you’ve shared.
    Wishes from Spain

  22. I love these monthly planner inserts so so so much, I just HAD to feature them in my blog once I’d finally printed them last night (I know, I’m halfway through the year…!) – here’s how I’m using them: http://kelsiefreeman.wordpress.com/2013/06/23/filofax-inserts/

I’d love it and be forever grateful if you did 1 day per page with appointment times to spruce up my daily planner though… or even a lovely “Personal Information Page” instead of the bland old Filofax one… or address pages… heck, I just want to see more more more of your beautiful inserts… hint hint ;)

Keep up your amazing work – I’m totally converted and thank you so much for introducing me to Leonie Dawson’s work :)

    • Oh my gawd Kel, you are so sweet! SO glad you like my calendars. The one day per page insert is already on the list and I will hopefully get to it next month. And the other suggestions YES! Love them! Will do them all for sure! :) Leonie is just awesome, isn’t she? I love her to pieces :D
Thank you so much for your lovely comment sweetie! Heading over to your blog right now ;)

  23. LOVE your art!!! Thank you for the calendar. I added your button to my new blog and hope you AND I can expand our followers! I will be checking in regularly to see what other goodies you have and to notify my followers as well. Thanks again! *HUGS*

  24. This is the most beautiful month on two pages I’ve ever seen. Really something special to put into my planner, and I love how thought through the design itself is with the boxes for goals and the stop box.

  25. Just finding your blog today and love all of your filofax printables and i can see all the love that went into creating these. Will you be doing a 2014 calendar? thanks so much

    sommer

  26. hi,i love all your design…well my filofax size is pocket…its seem that i can’t resize it to my pocket refill…could you do the pocket size so that i can direct dowloaded it…

    • Hi Rachel!
Yes, the file is formatted for personal size so it won’t resize for pocket or mini. I have tried doing specifically for pocket size but it just won’t have enough room after all the resizing is done. So at the moment only Personal, A5 and A4 are available :)

  27. Hi Lovely.
I might be being stupid! but I just want the December version of this year to plan the last few days of this year (I’ve got a TON of uni work!) is it still possible to get it?
    mwah xx
